How do you ship?
We ship most of our domestic orders via Shiprocket, utilizing minimal packaging materials to reduce environmental impact.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Order Processing: Orders are processed and packed within 1 to 3 business days upon receipt of payment.
Delivery Timeframes:
- Within Tamil Nadu: Delivery within 2 to 4 business days from receipt of payment.
- Rest of India: Delivery within 5 to 8 business days from receipt of payment.
- Note: Our business days are Monday through Saturday (Excluding public holidays)
- During Sales Events: Please anticipate potential delays during special sales events due to increased order volumes.
How will I know my order has been shipped?
You will receive an email notification with tracking details once your package has been dispatched.
What are my shipping cost options?
Shipping Rates:
- Within Tamil Nadu: ₹70 per kg
- Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh: ₹80 per kg
- Rest of India: ₹90 per kg
Damages and Issues
We strive to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition. However, if you encounter any issues:
- Inspection upon Receipt: Please inspect your order upon arrival.
- Reporting Issues: Contact us immediately (not later than 7 days) if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Supporting Evidence: Providing an unboxing video of the package will expedite our resolution process, as it helps us assess the issue accurately.
Missing Item Policy
We take great care to ensure all orders are thoroughly checked before shipment. In the rare event that an item is missing:
- Reporting Missing Items: Contact us within 10 days of receiving your package.
- Verification: We may request proof (e.g., an unboxing video or relevant images) to verify the missing item.
- Resolution: Once confirmed, we will promptly ship the missing item, issue a refund, or include it in your next order.
- Incorrect Items: If you receive an incorrect item, you may keep it or pass it along to someone else.
International Customers
International Payment
- We accept credit card payments via the Razor pay payment gateway. All transactions are secured through SSL encryption.
International Shipping
- Processing Time: Orders are usually shipped within 24 hrs. from receipt of payment.
- Shipping Method: We use DHL services for international orders.
- Delivery Time: Delivery time varies between 5 to 14 business days, depending on the destination country.

- You will receive an email notification with tracking details once your order is shipped.
International Shipping Costs
- Postage Costs: Calculated based on package weight and destination at checkout.
- Rate Variability: Due to varying rates, we are unable to provide exact shipping costs in advance.
Missing Item Policy for International Orders:
- Reporting Missing Items: If an item is missing, please inform us immediately.
- Resolution: Due to the high cost of international shipping, we cannot resend missing items. Instead, a refund will be issued for the missing product.
Duties Taxes, and Customs:
- International shipping does not include duties, taxes, or other charges imposed by the destination country.
- Customers are responsible for any import duties or customs fees.
- If a package is detained by customs, Root and Soil is not responsible for its clearance.
