ROOT and SOIL's Moisturising massage oil for babies is a 100% handmade oil, prepared by expert local women in rural areas of Pollachi taluk. They have been making this oil for decades for babies in their families. It is made from fresh pure coconut milk. We do not store buy coconut milk, we make our own coconut milk. Coconut milk is fermented overnight to get coconut cream settled on top. The thick coconut cream is then boiled to get this finest oil. It takes approximately 7-8 litres of coconut milk to get 1 litre of oil ( somehow i have always been thinking 5-6 litres, but when we were discussing Meghala told me it's actually 7-8 litres 🤎) The extracted oil is filtered and this luxury is ready to use.
